The Separation and Unity of Sciences and Religion Throughout Conceived History
This is a paper that is supposed to scrutinize the nuances of religion and science that have made it seem like they are polar-opposites of each other & mutually exclusive. The point of the paper is to make an argument of the following (this is my thesis): While religion and science are represented as two opposing forces because of their previous history, the definitions attributed to each, and the models of interactions between them that have facilitated a perception of their domain, their ongoing interaction since conceived history reveals a deeper and significant union in what is currently being recognized as division.
I am basically make an strong and solid argument that represents clear relevance to current thinkers while also acknowledging and addressing different viewpoints. I want the paper to look at the history of the Church, Galileo, and others; however, I also want a discussion and analysis with science’s interactions with other religions, like Hinduism and Islam . I am trying to avoid a Eurocentric perspective of just the church and science interactions.
