1.Interrogatories- It includes the specific written questions put forward by one party and is to be answered by the opposing party to clarify the matters of facts and helps to prepare for trails.It must state questions in precise manner so as to obtain the accurate evidences.It sometimes become quite complex with multiple sub-parts.
2.Deposition- These includes the oral questions. An individual is subject to answer the questions under oath for thr putpose of gathering more information to prepare for thr trial.These proceedings are usually done in the attorney’s office with representative of both or all the parties in attendence.the notice and order or order of examination must specify the particular matters to be discovered.

3.Request for production- It allows one party to ask the other party to provide the documents or other tangible evidences including electronically stored infromation.The applicant must have a reasonable belief that such eveidence is necesary for the lawsuit. 4.Request for Admissions– It requires the other party to admit or deny certain carefully worded questions.It facilitates the fair and and effecient administration of justice by minimizing the time and expense incurred in proving issues that are not in dispute.A positive to using the request for admission is that it gets the opposing party to adit to certain facts in your comapliants.
5.Physical examination– When the party’s physical and mental condition is in controversy, the opposing party can seek a court order requiring the party to undergo a physical or mental examination.
