The song This Is America is a commentary on American culture. With all the challenges Americans have confronted in 2020 from disease, health disparities, gun violence, disparities in access to education etc this song is more relevant than ever. In Public Administration we face complex issues like those displayed in this video and we must make decisions about how and when to address them and with what resources.
Reflect on 2020 and look hopefully into 2021. Discuss the relevance of this video to the challenges currently facing our elected leadership locally, statewide and nationally. Write a two to three page summary of the issues, the role government should and shouldnt play in addressing the issues, what would be the resources needed and write a call to action! A call to action is a specific request to an elected offical, government body or group of people. Incorporate the call to action into the summery of your paper.
