Quality of Life: The object of all medical interventions is to restore, maintain or improve the quality of life for the patient. Thus, in all medical situations, the topic of quality of life must be raised. 4. Contextual Features: Every medical case is embedded in a larger context of persons, institutions, financial, social arrangements. Decisions have a psychological, emotional, financial, legal, scientific, educational, and religious impact on others. These four pillars are essential tools to medical ethics analysis, and for examining case studies throughout the semester.
