Historic and Social Context – Briefly explain the history of your topic. Then, explain how the topic has come to be defined/operationalized at micro, mezzo, and macro levels.
Local Impact/Response – What is the local impact of your topic? Who in the local community is addressing this topic? Are there other programs or agencies in your community serving this population? If so, who are they? What would you do differently than they are doing? Should your effort be a partnership? If so, explain why you should partner with them and how you would go about it. Which other programs are clients most likely to interact with related to their challenges?
Theory – Identify and explain one HBSE theory that undergirds your intervention or informs work on this topic/with this population. Choose just one theory so that you can cover it in depth.
